I have bought a very nice pair of Men's Red Wing 6" Heritage Classic Moc, and are at the moment getting to know them, making them soft and more comfortable to wear.

The RedWing store foot measuring system told me I should be wearing a 12.5 which is not accurate, I went with a 10.5 and wear 11/11.5 in most other shoes. Size down a half size or full size if you have a narrow foot.

The non-padded ankle is a little rough on the break-in period, especially going down stairs. The leather insole has little cusioning, but they're alright for some low-mileage walking. I bought these as a hipster option for work shoes. I work around heavy equipment and was sick of ruining my rare sneakers. These look like they belong in a heavy industry setting, but with the current trend of workboots being fashionable, I can comfortably (sort of) head out after work somewhere without having to change my shoes. I'll most likely buy some cedar shoe trees, since if I take a couple days off from wearing these, they like to punish me with a five minute reminder of our initial time together. The white soles get dirty fairly fast. Mine are already showing signs of wear where my heel strikes the ground. These soles were designed for rebar work and not really made for shop applications. They resist oil and grease fairly well, but I've heard it is not uncommon to have to resole them in 3 to 5 months if you put heavy mileage on them on asphalt. The leather is top-notch and seems like it will last a lifetime, although a tad stiff.
