love the bright yellow, but dismayed at quality 08 September 2010

I bought these for my 4yr old grandson, but if I'd held them first, I would have passed; there are smudges and black fingerprints in the yellow rubber that do not wipe clean; they appear to be glue and smudged during manufacturing.
