Every style in this collection offers additional depth to accommodate custom orthotics, and don't forget to try the DX2 models offering a full half inch depth! The Performance Walker Mesh is a sharp sneaker featuring a long medial counter and a slip-resistant sole. It is pedorthically designed and has a dual density rubber and EVA outsole with a thermo-plastic urethane torsion control bar designed for mid-foot stability. The Performance Walker also features a brushed tricot lining with moisture wicking action and a permanent insole with Poron foam heel and metatarsal strike zones for added comfort. The shoe comes with dual density, full length 1/4" removable inlay with Dri-Lex cover. This style has been approved for Medicare Billing code A5500.

I have Charcots in both feet, these are the only shoes that will allow my custom made insoles. I'm not crazy about the mesh material, I would prefer a solid leather look. All in all a great shoe!

The PW Minor Performance Walker Mesh was a good buy. I have been briskly walking three miles every morning for the past several years as an exercise. These shoes support well and the soles absorb the impact of a fast walk for comfort. I like the fact that an extra pair of shoe laces are included with each pair because these aways break and it's hard to find an appropriate replacement. I had to order a half size smaller than my regular size. Just be aware of that when ordering. I'm going to buy a second pair.
