All the attitude of the Super Rain Forest 10", but in an 8" version. Rugged outdoor work boots simply don't get any more reliable than this. With a double-thick leather upper in the vamp, and hyper-strong, triple-stitched nylon thread. A sweet ride for the working man's feet. Several Danner boots benefit from the rugged stability of the stalwart design. The key features? A right-angle heel and wide lugs around the outside.

If you need a quality boot that is a step above the rest; this is it. Solid, well built, high end... Nothing fits like this boot or lasts like this boot. I have one pair insulated for winter and one pair non insulated for the rest of the year. USA made Danner's are top notch. I would avoid the Chinese made ones as I have not been impressed for the price. I have a slightly narrower than normal foot and this boot fits me great. If your feet are at all wide; order the wide. This boot will makes other guys on your crew get the same boots because it looks good, feels good, and wears well over time.
Wears this shoe: 10 Hours a day, 5 days a week as an electrician.

Very well made, and almost as comfortable as wearing slippers!! I am on my feet non-stop on very hostile terrain. The Danner Super Rainforest really makes it a lot easier on my feet. The boots broke in very fast. I am a 10 1/2 D and found these a bit wide as I am almost to the point of fully tightening them. I may soak the boots and then wear them till they dry as I hear this will shrink them up a bit and custom mold the boot to my foot as well. For now I wear 2 pairs of socks. Overall, these are excellent American made boots and Shoebuy.com had by far the best price. Don't keep shopping buy these boots!

So far I am very pleased with these boots. I had read that there was no break-in required, but that wasn't the case for me. They were stiff and hurt my shins. I pressed through the pain and after a week or so the are much more comfortable. They are great when I ride my motorcycle and seem to be built to last. They are quite heavy though and I rarely 'forget' that I'm wearing them.

I've owned many boots in my life and this is one of the better ones. They take a few weeks to be broken in. Once they are they feel great. This is certainly a quality boot

I've owned top notch boots. This is the toughest boot I could find. I insist on an American made boot, as I build America daily. I'm a Union Bricklayer, the boys thought I was nutty spending so much on a pair of boots, now they understand. Mortar is hard on boots, the Danner leather is awesome. Do not second guess these boots, just get them.
Wears this shoe: 5 days a week, 8 hrs. a day, and if i need to catch baitfish.
